The Graph protocol integrates Binance Smart Chain into its ecosystem

Binance Smart Chain joins The Graph (GRT)

According to a press release dated March 2, The Graph (GRT) indexing protocol now supports the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). This new feature will allow developers to create application programming interfaces (APIs) for a fee. These can be used to index and query data from a specific network.

In this way, developers will be able to deploy their APIs on public and reliable infrastructure. They will also be able to use The Graph to improve access to data.

The Binance blockchain now joins other projects carried out by The Graph such as Ethereum, Polkadot, Polygon and Celo.

The Graph acts like a search engine for data from the related blockchains. The best performing APIs, also known as sub-graphes, are mainly used by many Web3 foundation projects such as Uniswap, Aave and Synthetix.

In the near future, The Graph’s team is considering the integration of Bitcoin, Cosmos, Avalanche and Flow. After Binance Smart Chain, what will be the next blockchain to join The Graph?

Infinite possibilities thanks to The Graph

The possibilities offered by The Graph are very numerous. This protocol allows Binance Smart Chain developers to create applications for decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFT), blockchain games, online stores and more.

With The Graph, binance Smart Chain will provide greater transparency to users in its ecosystem. The Graph is expected to join members of the BSC ecosystem to begin the migration of APIs to the decentralized network within a few months.

The Graph’s reputation is no longer to be made and many projects are aware of its benefits. In fact, PancakeSwap, the decentralized exchange (DEX) based on the Binance Smart Chain, had already requested the integration of The Graph on this blockchain.

Chef Kai, the co-founder of PancakeSwap, said he was pleased with the speed of queries in terms of data reading. The PancakeSwap team is looking forward to migrating to The Graph.

“Consistent and scalable data APIs, analytics and visualization can not only provide a better overview of dApps, but also inspire new and innovative ideas about DeFi when it comes to data analytics. The collaboration between The Graph and BSC will provide a very strong and fast infrastructure for its manufacturers,” said Xiaoguang Zhang, Ecosystem Coordinator of Binance Smart Chain.

Since March 1, Binance Smart Chain has been working with Hackerlink.io to sponsor the contributors to The Graph. Grants will be put in place to encourage more developers to use The Graph and deploy their APIs on the BSC.
